Torsten Klengel, MD, PhD
Torsten Klengel, MD, PhD focuses on two lines of translational research under the mentorship of Kerry Ressler, MD, PhD. He seeks to understand the contribution of the non-coding transcriptome to the formation of fear memories in mice and the development of stress- and fear-related disorders in humans. In addition, Dr. Klengel seeks to understand epigenetic effects of stress and trauma exposure exploring mouse and rhesus monkey models in combination with studies in humans.
Dr. Klengel collaborates with researchers at McLean Hospital, within the Boston research community and across the nation. |
