Cara BigonyCara is a Clinical Research Assistant for the Ressler Lab and the Dissociative Disorders and Trauma Research Program, as well as for the Partners Biobank at McLean Hospital. In addition to these roles, she holds a per-diem role as an emergency room medical advocate for survivors of sexual assault through the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC). The clinical research studies she works on examine the phenomenology, neurobiology, and genetics of individuals with histories of trauma. Cara received her B.A. in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College.
